I have been working on fabric covers for steno pads for my children’s teachers.
They can be made totally reversible. They have a handy spot on the cover for a pen or pencil and an elastic closure.
I think these would make great little gifts when you just need a little something. They are quick and easy! If you would like a pattern for these I have a PDF you may download for $3.95.
It is an immediate download so you can have your pattern and be sewing right away! Yes, you could figure out how to make these, but if you don’t want to waste the time figuring out all of the measurements simply download three pages of detailed instructions. If you are interested visit the shop!
****3/8 yard each of two different fabrics will make four covers
****You can find steno pads at Wal-Mart for just under a $1.00
Most big box and office supply stores have them. Hope this helps Joan.
Where can I purchase steno notebook covers?
I think the corn is adorable as well as the other patterns, but the corn really popped out to me. (No pun intended).
Looks like your shop is empty – any chance you’ll put this back in the shop?
Love is idea! Great little gift ideas!
I don’t sew but would love to buy some of these from you. Is that possible??
I love these!
I love this idea and put a link in my blog today for it! http://sarahrmara.blogspot.com/2009/11/packages-boxes-and-bags.html
I love this and am about to head over and download. Quick question for you… where do you have your fabric labels made? I’ve been looking for a good source after giving up on trying to make them myself.
I am really enjoying going through your site. I perform shows for children and recently put some of my cable TV episodes on my new blog. Would love to hear your thoughts on my site. It is very new and I am sure that am I making many beginner mistakes. If you have any time, any comments, any mistakes that I can skip over, please contact me.
Just finished my 1st one (Christmas Eve). It was so fast and easy. Your directions are awesome!! Thank you so much for this great pattern!
