We love celebrating the Fourth of July at our home. We are all about the Fourth of July Parade and spend months planning our float. We also have a day long party at our home. I am usually scrambling at the last minute decorating the tables to make them festive. So instead of running around gathering flowers this year I made these wooden star flag holders.
Cut the stars out of a piece of 2 X 8 pine lumber using a jig saw. Here is a star template.
Drill a hole at an angle on the top on each side.
Sand the stars and paint. I found these glitter star ornaments at the craft store and hot glued them to the front. These wooden stars could also be left plain or painted red white and blue. Place two flags in your star and you have a festive Fourth of July table decoration.
