Create a DIY printed box

We all know the silhouette can cut, but did you know it can sketch?

I am so excited about this, actually giddy. The silhouette sketch pens allow me to print on those things I can’t send through my printer (and if you have read this blog  you know I send almost anything through my printer) But, I can’t send a box.

Oh yes I did! I placed my box right on the mat and loaded it in!  For a candy box work upside down, because only the top flap of the box will fit under the rollers.

Really printing on a box is super easy to do. Remove the blade and replace with a Silhouette Sketch Pen. Select a font and type  words, then from the menu choose object then sketch. Next I chose plain with no fill. Place box on the sticky mat and load. Send to silhouette. Select sketch pen and then “cut.”

Amazing! Imagine the possibilities for party favors and special homemade gifts!
