These Scarecrow cookies are what I took for my daughter's bake sale. Someone had made some similar ones at my son's bake sale. I am thinking the original idea came from Family Fun Magazine. I made sugar cookies on long sticks so I could stick them into a small hay bale I found at Hobby Lobby.
I thought it was a fun way to display the cookies so they could be sold individually.
You may find the sugar cookie recipe I used here.

Those cookies are so cute! I am going to make myself a mental not (actually, I better make myself a REAL note) to use them as a Christmas project for the kids. With a few alterations, they could be great snowmen. Thanks, as always, for the great ideas.
What a cute cookie pop! I love the idea of a scarecrow!
SO cute! I love these!
Oh my heavens those are just the sweetest scarecrows ever! Yummy!
Very cute, adorable even, a sure fund raiser!

Those little guys are so cute I could just eat ‘em!
Too cute! These may be just the thing for my girls’ Halloween party at preschool!
I love these. They are so cute and the haybale to hold them in, well let’s just say genuis!!! Thanks for sharing your great ideas!
You are so talented…love your site and these cookies look YUMMY!!
Wow those are so cute. How did you get the cookie to stay on the stick? Are those the same sticks that you use to make chocolate?
What is the hair made of?
I’m sorry to bother you, but I would love to make these for my students.
How cool are these? I’m jealous that you can still do bake sales. Our schools in Oregon went to store-bought-ONLY treats YEARS ago!
SO CUTE! I love these…I am so making these for my son’s preschool class.
So I’m also interested what the hair is. And what did you use for the eyes?
Thanks so much for sharing the great idea!
I will definitely try thee next year. What an adorable idea. You did a great job with them and the mini haystack is perfect.
I love your site! It is so much fun! I put a link to it on my blog for all my friends! Thanks!
What is the hair made of? Where do you find the sticks?
Thanks so much. I just stumbled on this site and have made 3 of your crafts with my son since yesterday morning!
