Add butter, sugar, almond extract, vanilla extract and eggs to a bowl and mix until you have a creamy batter.
Fold in all purpose flour and baking powder to create a cake batter
Spread batter on oiled baking tray or in a cake tin to form a layer
Place cherries on top of the batter all over the tray
Add extra batter in the spaces between the cherries to form an extra cake layer
Bake in the oven until cake batter is cooked and golden brown
Take powdered sugar and a little milk and mix to create a drizzle for the cake
