Ingredients

  • 2 Cups whole wheat flour
  • 8 ounces sweet potato puree or sweet potato baby food can use pumpkin puree or pumpkin baby food, too
  • 1 tbsp water, if needed

Instructions

  • Combine 2 Cups whole wheat flour and 8 ounces of puree or baby food in a large bowl. Stir until combined. Add 1 tablespoon of water if mixture is too dry and crumbly.
  • Using whole wheat flour, turn out dough on a floured surface and roll to 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Using a bone-shaped cookie cutter, press out biscuits and place on a prepared baking tray. I use parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the moisture is cooked out. These biscuits do not have preservatives and will not keep long, especially if not fully cooked.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 6 days.
