Hello Skip to My Lou Readers! My name is Kim and I blog over at seven thirty three where I share tons of kids crafts, DIY parties and printables!
My kids love to come home from school to random treasure hunts. It’s fun and inexpensive to do and always leaves a smile on their faces. Since it is Summer and it has been so nice out, I decided to mix it up a bit and get them outside with a Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt!
How to have a nature scavenger hunt
Grab a basket or a bag for each child and head outside with my free printable scavenger hunt check list and see what kinds of things you can find! The best part of this activity is that after the kids are done the hunt, they can take their finds and use their creativity to turn them into something else, such as painting the rock they found, or creating leaf art!
Don’t have a printer or are strict with your ink? No worries! Just grab a piece of paper and write a list of items that can be found outside, include check boxes next to each item so that the child can mark off their list as they go.
Wouldn’t this be a fun party activity? And it is absolutely perfect for a camping trip!

Love this. Pinned!
I don’t mean to be picky, but is it a piece of liter like from a two-liter bottle, or a pice of litter?
