Easy DIY Minion Hand Warmers

Minion Hand Warmer Supplies

• craft felt (or fleece) in yellow, black and white
• gray thread
• sewing machine (no worries if you don’t sew, use tacky glue)
• rice
• funnel
• Minion Template

How to make a Minion hand warmer

Download and print template on regular copy paper.  Cut out the pieces and use them as a guide to cut the felt.

Cut:

• 1 large white round circle
• 2 black rectangles
• 3 pieces of black hair (these can be free handed)
• 1 black mouth
• 1 small black circle
• 2 yellow body piece

Using the template as a placement guide, sew the black rectangles and mouth to one yellow body piece. Sew the small black circle to the center of the white circle. No worries if you don’t sew. Tacky glue for fabric will work great for this project! Be sure to allow glue to dry before moving to the next step.

Sew the white circle between the black rectangles.  Use a ziz zag stitch with width about 4.5 and length .05-1.

Sew the two body pieces together sewing in the hair at the top and leaving an opening at the body.

Fill the minion with about 1/2 cup rice. Stitch opening closed.

A darling Minion hand warmer.  Place in microwave for about 45 seconds (do not overheat) and you will have toasty hands!
