Make A Mix {Muffins In A Jar}

Posted by  ·  December 27, 2012  ·  Last Updated: December 27, 2012

Make a mix of these muffins! Keep a few jar recipes on hand to save time when you want to quickly whip up something something homemade.  One of my favorite jar recipes is Peppermint Brownies in a jar. You might also like these cookies in a jar. All my  jar recipes come with printable labels so they also make great gifts!

Cinnamon Spice Muffin Jar Mix

Simply mix together

2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt

Place in one quart regular mouth canning jar. In small baggie place 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Place baggie in jar on top of the flour mixture.

Cinnamon Spice Muffin Jar Labels Download

Print the labels on 1-up sticker paper, available at Kinko’s or OfficeMax. They will sell this sticker/label paper by the sheet. You can even email them the PDF and they can print for you. This will give the best quality label.

Gather some baking cups and twine or ribbon.

Place lid on jar. Stick instruction to top of lid. Place a stack of baking cups over lid, fasten with ribbon or twine.

Now you can treat your friends to yummy muffins with they need them with this jar mix!

I hope you will stop by and visit me! Lets keep in touch! You can follow me on Pinterest and Facebook.  I have some free printable gift tags for my friends on facebook and will be sharing the 2013 printable calendar soon.

Curious on how long the mix is safe to keep before someone makes the muffins?

Becki check all the expiration dates on the ingredients. It should last at least that long.

Hi...I can't seem to get the labels to print. Don't know what the problem is, your other labels for pancake mix print fine. Maybe you could email me a pdf for the muffin labels. Thanks so much!

Hi, I too tried to click download, it just took me to the picture of the jar, no recipe/instructions/printable. I have no clue what to add to the dry ingredients, what temperature or how long to bake. Thanks for your help! And thanks for sharing!

This is too cute and I would like to make it for my friends bday but I would like better instructions. I have all the ingredients but I need some additional information. I'm slightly confused as in after I mix all the ingredients what would the instructions be for my friend to bake them? A quick response would be greatly appreciated as her bday is around the corner.

    Thank you!

Hi Becki, When you click on the download (above the picture) you will see that the download has a circle with instructions that you cut out and put on top of the jar to tell how to make the muffins. Hope this helps.
