This month Lowe’s challenged us to add a little curb appeal to our home.ย We noticed that we had overlooked the curb appeal of our home at night.
With the help of outdoor lighting from Lowe’s we were able to light up our home. We installed 5 Portfolio Black Low-Voltage Halogen Well Flood Lights with a power pack.ย The power pack is necessary to reduce your household current to 12 volts.
It took less than an hour to add curb appeal to our home!ย Not only is better lighting a good safety measure, it can also create a warm inviting home.

Hi, I have been shopping at Lowes for a long time,and they have so many great things for the home, I was just there yesterday and found even more things that I didn’t even know they had! I haven’t been able to get lights for my yard yet and would absolutly LOVE to win the gift card so I could purchase the lights like you have installed, they are beautiful!

I would use this gift card for lighting as well, but for interior lighting. I found a really nice black chandelier online that I bought for above my kitchen table, but have been having a heck of a time finding 2 pendant lights to replace the ones above my island. I looked on the Lowes website, and found the perfect ones…the same finish as my chandelier, and the shades are the same size and shape! I would love to win this gift card so I can get rid of the hideous 1970’s coppery/brass lantern lights that look like they belong on a pirate ship…haha! Please pick me! :p
