This month Lowe’s challenged us to add a little curb appeal to our home. We noticed that we had overlooked the curb appeal of our home at night.
With the help of outdoor lighting from Lowe’s we were able to light up our home. We installed 5 Portfolio Black Low-Voltage Halogen Well Flood Lights with a power pack. The power pack is necessary to reduce your household current to 12 volts.
It took less than an hour to add curb appeal to our home! Not only is better lighting a good safety measure, it can also create a warm inviting home.

I just bought a bunch of plants from Lowe’s last weekend – peonies, bleeding hearts and lupine – to help improve our curb appeal, but there’s SO much that is yet to be done to our front yard. Solar lights would rock – so would more plants. What a great giveaway!

$100 would go towards the new bathroom fixtures, and part of the way for the new trim for our bathroom! We’re removing the old trim because the previous home owners had NO clue how to paint trim haha! It’s hunter green – and has big drips where they had too much paint!
