This month Lowe’s challenged us to add a little curb appeal to our home. We noticed that we had overlooked the curb appeal of our home at night.
With the help of outdoor lighting from Lowe’s we were able to light up our home. We installed 5 Portfolio Black Low-Voltage Halogen Well Flood Lights with a power pack. The power pack is necessary to reduce your household current to 12 volts.
It took less than an hour to add curb appeal to our home! Not only is better lighting a good safety measure, it can also create a warm inviting home.

Recently a police officer pulled up into our yard wanting to know if anyone lived here. I said “yes”, and he said “you need outside lighting so the house does not look empty”. What an opportunity this would be to help with the cost of lighting we so desperately need. Thank you for this opportunity.

Oh Lowes…so much fun I could have. We rent a house and it’s always a debate with my husband on what we should invest in, since the house is not ours and what is just quality of life. So having a gift card we could just do nice things without the guilt of a bad investment! ha-ha!
