We used King’s Hawaiian® hot dog buns and they were a hit. These buns were super soft and had a touch of sweetness! My daughter kept asking for another bun! A Chicago Dog needs pickles, pickle relish, peppers, chopped onions, tomatoes and spicy mustard.
How to build a Chicago Dog
all-beef hot dogs
King’s Hawaiian® hot dog buns
spicy brown mustard
sweet green pickle relish
kosher dill pickles, quartered lengthwise
pickled sport bell peppers or tiny hot peppers
Simmer hot dogs in beer or water for about 10 minutes. To assemble hot dogs, place a hot dog in each bun. Add mustard to taste; top with dill spear, relish, chopped onion, a couple slices of tomato, and 1-2 sport peppers.
Sprinkle with celery and poppy seeds (optional).
