All April we will be featuring great ideas. I can’t wait to see what they share. You will be totally prepared with ideas to thank your teachers!  Fresh Flowers are always appreciated, this Rose Bud Teacher Gift is the perfect way to give this gift.  Get the kids involved and have them make this edible fruit bouquet!

Hi guys! I’m Heather from Chickabug, and I’m thrilled to be participating in Skip to My Lou’s Teacher Appreciation series again this year! Here’s a little about me: I design and sell personalized paper goods and DIY party printables in the Chickabug shop, and I also blog about all things party (and share a lot of free printables on my blog, too).

As much as I enjoy funny gifts, I think the only thing that’s even better than a good laugh is a handwritten note from the heart. Letting a teacher know how special they are – and why – would be a present to be cherished long after food gifts have been eaten and the tchotchkes have been put aside. So, this year I’ve designed some notecards that will be special keepsakes for your children’s teachers.

These “Thanks To You, I Learned…” notes have a chalkboard background, faux washi tape, and a generous space for writing a note (or drawing a picture!).

The washi tape looks pretty darn real, don’t you think? Super cute.

Making a “Thanks To You” card only takes minutes, and it’s sure to be a gift that your kids’ teachers will love.
