DIY Valentine Chip Bag Supplies
- Printable chip bag template (download link below)
- Glue Stick or double-sided tape
- Paper crimper (optional, but this makes it look so realistic and a fun tool to have)
- Your Valentine’s favorite bag of chips (this free chip bag template is for a 1-ounce snack bags of chips)
- Scissors (optional, it really doesn’t need any trimming)
- White Plain Copy Paper (Choose matte finish or I like slightly glossy paper. I do think thin paper is best.)
- Color Printer (or upload the file to your local copy shop for vibrant colors)

How to Make a Chip Bag
Just a few basic steps and you can create your own cute custom chip bags! These make great favor bags, classroom valentines or just something fun to share with friends.
- Download the chip bag template and print it in color on regular copy paper. While you can trim the white border with scissors or a paper trimmer, I think the white edges look great as is.
- Wrap the printable chip bag cover printed side face down around the small bag of chips and fasten the edge of the chip bag printable with a glue stick.
- Glue the top of the bag and the bottom edges closed with a generous amount of glue stick.
- Use a paper crimper to crimp the top and bottom of the bag. This will give it a realistic look and feel, just like a store-bought chip bag!
Once your DIY Valentine chip bag wrapper is complete, present it to your Valentine with a big smile and lots of love. They’re sure to be impressed by your creativity and thoughtfulness!
