Delicious Fruit Dip

Posted by  ·  August 1, 2012  ·  Last Updated: August 1, 2012

My friend Lori always brings this delicious fresh fruit dip to our gatherings and we LOVE it!

Just two ingredients and some spices and you will have a yummy fruit dip.

Fruit Dip Recipe

1 – 7 ounce container  marshmallow cream

1 – 8 ounce pkg cream cheese

a pinch of  ground nutmeg

1/8 tsp of ground cinnamon (I use up to 1/4 tsp)

Blend all ingredients together until fluffy with an electric mixer. Serve with fresh fruit. Apples are really good with this dip.

If I melt down marsh mellows, will that work too?

We make this dip in our family & love it. Ialso like to add a single serving size cup of yogurt . Lemon or lime are nice compliments toa most fruit & give it a little zip. Strawberry is also another favorite, but you could mix it up & use any flavor you like.

I second Paula on the sour cream and brown sugar. That's how I make my fruit dip with some soft macaroons torn in small pieces mixed in. Delicious!!
