I got to kick off the year by meeting all of my fellow Michaels Makers from all over at the Michaels Makers Summit last week! We enjoyed three lovely days in Sonoma! Everything was spectacular and no detail overlooked!
We took four amazing classes all taught by Michaels education partner, Creativebug!
Creativebug Classes
Watercolor was one of my favorites! It was shocking to see how easy it was. With just the right supplies……..
and a few tips and techniques………..
we were painting leaves……
and flowers!
So much fun!
We also learned to weave.
We now can make stunning tissue paper flowers (and you can too) !
With just the right instructions we were all creating amazing flowers. Look at what Ashley and I made!
I was amazed at all the different techniques to transfer images. I had no idea you can transfer magazine images with clear packing tape and that a blender pen will transfer a photocopy to wood. So cool!
