Recently I spentย three amazingย daysย at Baby Lock headquarters inย St. Louis, Mo. The event, Common Threads, bringsย together some of the most creativeย people in the sewing community to share their projects, ideas, and their love of sewing. ย What a warm, inviting community this is. I am always awed by their willingness to share information, ideas and help each other be better!
Baby Lock – For the love of sewing
We spend loads of time chatting and getting to know each other but we also spend time sewing!ย I love the time to share with these amazing women, to learn about new trends and have the opportunity to sharpen my skills and learn more about BabyLock sewing machines. What a thrill to sew on Baby Lock’sย Destiny sewing machine!
Each year BabyLock also provides an opportunity to use our skills for good. ย This year my sweet friendย Lindsay Wilkes of The Cottage Mama showed us how to make the most adorable appliquรฉd pillow case dresses for little girls in Africa. ย We all worked together to create over 50 dresses to benefit children in Africa.
