This year for Teacher Appreciation Week, our school chose a superhero theme for all the fun events, so I created a cute printable gift card holder for our 5th grade teachers. The idea was to give them a little โSuper Power Enhancer,โ because every superhero needs extra fuel now and then!
We filled ours with Starbucks gift cards, but you can use any gift card your teacher would love, like a favorite restaurant, coffee shop, ice cream spot, bookstore, or even Applebeeโs for a fun teacher-themed gift. The printable kit also includes coordinating note cards and thank you cards, so you can mix and match the pieces to create a thoughtful superhero teacher gift that shows just how much you appreciate them.

To make this gift card you need:
- Printable Super Hero Gift Card by Jen Goode
- Printer
- Scissors
- Adhesive – I used double-sided tape
How to Make a Super Hero Theme Gift Card
To assemble your super hero gift card:
- Download and print out the printable.
- Cut out the components you’d like to use.
- Fold to create the gift card package.
- Attach any accessories you’d like to include. Each of the mini word art designs on the printable can be placed on your card like a sticker. Just apply adhesive and attach to the card wherever you’d like.
- Insert ย your gift card and a note if you’d like.
- Cut out and adhere the “POW” word art to seal the card.

Extra fun: there are three color stripes included on this printable that you can use to make colored confetti to include inside the gift card holder. Simply cut the color stripes into strips, like fringe, and then cut again to make little square confetti pieces.
