Yes, you can make your own honeycomb paper.  Can you think of the possibilities? —-table decorations, ceiling decorations, centers for flowers etc.  It is really simple, however I hope my directions don’t complicate things!

First trace your pumpkin shape on to tissue paper. You will need 9 layers.

Cut these out

Glue one layer to inside of card.  I used glue-stick for the entire project

Pretend this is a face of a clock. You are going to glue at 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9:00

Place a layer on top and now you will glue between 12:00 and 3:00, 3:00 and 6:00, 6:00 and 9:00 and 9:00 and 12:00

Continue gluing in this pattern –alternating back and forth between each layer until you are at the 8th layer. Put the glue on the 8th layer, then cut your 9th sheet in half. Place this half piece on top of the right side. Fold card together and ta-dah you have a 3 dimensional pumpkin card.

Make a little pumpkin stem out of card-stock and add any other embellishments!
