Cricut has divided some amazing bloggers into teams and challenged each team member to come up with a project for their home. I am part of  Team 5 so we made our team theme for this months challenge… the number 5.

I made 5 golden rings! That is napkin rings.

DIY Bow Napkin Rings

This is a quick and easy project with the Cricut Explore Electronic Cutting Machine .  I used a shimmery gold flannel backed vinyl (made for tablecloths), metal D-rings and hot glue. All items can be found at a fabric store.

I used the bow from the gift wrap embellishment from the Design Space.  I deleted the objects I didn’t need and enlarged the bow.

Choose cut 5 and it will neatly place 5 bows on the page. Super easy!

Place vinyl on mat, choose fabric setting, load mat and cut.

Put a dab of hot glue on one end of the bow piece and fasten to other end to make a circle.

Pinch the middle and wrap the small rectangle around the bow. Fasten with hot glue.

Flip it over and you have the perfect bow.

Attach the D-ring to the back with hot glue. Cover the d-ring with a small square of vinyl.

In no time at all you can make five golden rings perfect for your next dinner party!

The Cricut cut the vinyl cloth like butter! This vinyl table cloth material comes in such a variety of patterns and colors that the possibilities are endless for making cute napkin rings for any party!
