Here is one of those instant anytime crafts to keep little hands busy!

A few colorful pom poms, googly eyes, clothepins and glue and you have a cute clip!
This would be a cute craft to accompany Eric Carl's book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar

So cute! I made these as a kid in grade school and haven’t thought of them in years.
I need to invest in some pompoms & googly eyes!
These are just as adorable as can be : ). Your blog always has the most delightful ideas!
I love your blog too! These are so cute and easy for kids to make on their own.
I remember these from my childhood – they are so cute! I’m currently making my youngest son a Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt wallhanging. These would be cute in his room too!
Thanks for sharing!

Looking for ideas as to what to do with the clips. Laundry… snack bags… attach magnet and put on fridge… those all work but none really appeal to me all that much and I’m looking for more ideas because these are way too cute to deny my daughter… : )
My daughters will love making these!
I will have to try these with my grandchildren this Memorial weekend. They love doing crafts. How easy and cute!!
I am gong to make these with my little ones and add a magnet on the back. Then we can clip their artwork to the fridge.
My daughter is probably too old for these at almost 9 years, but I just had to comment to tell you how totally CUTE they are!

This is an adorable little craft you’ve made there. Kudos!!! I definitely want to try that out soon.

These clips would be cute clipped to a colored lunch sack to make an adorable gift bag!
I remember making those in school! So cute!
At our preschool a few years ago the kids made these and then put them into paper bag “cocoons” and rolled them up. A couple of days later at the open house for families, the kids opened their cocoons and the caterpillars had turned into butterflies – the teacher had clipped in painted coffee filters that the kids had made several days before (not knowing what they would be used for!) It was so cute to see them open the cocoons…
[...] I saw the caterpillar clips featured at Skip To My Lou this week, I knew it would be a project she would surely love. It is [...]
Made these when I was a girl- love it!
