My daughter and I made these for her class…she loved giving them and her classmates loved receiving them. She told me her teacher said, “Your mom is soooo creative!” So, thanks to your blog, we had a cute idea for handmade Valentines this year!

Thanks so much for posting these ideas! My 1st grade daughter made the butterflies and my 4th grade son made the whirligigs. Perfect for both personalities! Thanks for the creativity — we had a fun craft evening getting them all ready for school!

My 5 year old liked these butterflies, so we printed out a batch (his are lime green and sky blue, though :^). Thank you so much for posting them! But I’m having a really hard time getting the lollipop sticks through the slits! I wish we could find our missing hold punch, that would make it easier. I’m using heavyweight inkjet paper, which is similar in weight to store-bought valentines but a bear to deal with in this situation.
