BUTTER BAR RECIPE

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick butter

Topping

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Mix together crust ingredients. It will form a thick dough. Put it into a 9" x 13" pan and pat it to evenly cover the bottom of the pan.
  • Mix topping ingredients together until well blended. Pour over the crust of the bar and spread evenly.
  • Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar over top. Cool and cut into squares.
