Spaghetti Alfredo

Ingredients

Red Sauce

  • 1 24 oz jar of spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb sausage or ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Alfredo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter (one stick)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded parmesan divided
  • 2 cups mozzarella
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 16 oz spaghetti

Instructions

Red Sauce:

  • Brown the sausage or ground beef in a large skillet. When fully cooked, drain the greaseand add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add the jar of spaghetti sauce and heat on medium heat.

Spaghetti:

  • Boil the spaghetti noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

Alfredo Sauce:

  • In a large skillet or pan, heat butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1to 2 minutes. Stir in heavy cream.
  • Let heavy cream reduce and cook for a couple of minutes. Add 1 cup of the parmesancheese to the mixture and whisk until smooth and the cheese is melted. Add salt andpepper.

Assembly:

  • Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Add strained noodles to the dish.
  • Top with the alfredo sauce, making sure all noodles are coated.
  • Next evenly spread red meat sauce over the top of the noodles.
  • Top the whole dish with Mozzarella and the remaining parmesan cheese.
  • Bake the Spaghetti Alfredo at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the dish is bubbly.
