In our family, one of our favorite traditions is to decorate sugar cookies each valentines day. Kiddos love it and it makes for some great memories…and some good eats! 🙂

For the kit you need

  • a box
  • tissue paper to line the box (or paper shred)
  • sprinkles
  • frosting
  • jars for frosting
  • cookies
  • baker’s twine and ribbon for added cuteness
  • printable cookie poem

.I got the sprinkle containers at Walmart by the paper products. We keep them around for adding sauces and little items to school lunches

Make your cookies and frosting, put them together in jars, and wrap them with bakers twine.

Download and print out the Cookie Poem and cut it out to attach to your kit.

Valentine Poem

 When Valentine's Day is almost here
 We grab the cookie sheets
 We work together baking
 Our favorite cookie treats!

 Decorating them is so much fun
 We want to share with you
 Work together as a family
 You’ll love to do it too.

 First you will add the frosting
 Then add sprinkles large and small
 Be careful when you finish
 You might just eat them all.
