This cute dog makes the perfect puppy Valentine for Valentine’s day. The best part they are easy to make and deliver a useful treat!
Dog Valentine Supplies
- white cardstock
- scissors
- small sharp-pointed scissors or Exacto knife and cutting matt
- color printer
- pencils
- free printable Valentines
Be extra careful when using an Exacto knife they are extra sharp. The slits can be a bit tricky at first on this card but you quickly get the hang of it. If the paper starts to tear when pencil is inserts just make the slit a little longer.
Here’s What You Do
Download the PDF file to your computer and print in color on white cardstock. Cut a apart the cards with scissors.
With small scissors or an Exacto knife and cutting mat cut along the dotted lines to make slits into the cardstock.
Carefully slip a festive pencil into the slit. I found these pencils at the dollar store.
How easy is that! A pawsome Valentine (haha). Have your child write their name on the heart on the dog collar or on the back for a personal touch.
These dog cards make great class Valentines don’t you think? It might take some cutting but it is great practice for kids.
