The {ditto} DIY Challenge:

Frame some Fabric! Any fabric, any way….then use it in a lovely display.

Here is my Framed Fabric {ditto}DIY project:

My daughter has been wanting a bulletin board for her room. I thought this DIY Ditto challenge  would be the perfect way to show off some pretty fabric and also give her the bulletin board she needs.

How To Make A Fabric Covered Bulletin Board

For the frame of my bulletin board I used an old ornate picture frame spray painted with my favorite Krylon Watermelon Spray paint. While the paint was drying I used more fabric to make custom thumb tacks by covering buttons in a coordinating fabric. Follow package directions to cover the buttons. Be sure to remove the shank from the back of the button before placing into the plastic piece.

Once the picture frame is dry it is time to use our gorgeous fabric.  Cut a ceiling tile or piece of cork to fit inside the picture frame. Cut fabric big enough to wrap around the ceiling tile, allowing at least a couple of inches extra all the way around the ceiling tile.
