- 1 1/2 pint jar
- 1/2 cup dry split peas

- 2 bay leaves
In a 1 1/2 pint jar, layer the split peas, soup mix, spices, barley, lentils, rice, and bay leaves. Seal tightly. Attach a tag to the jar that says:

Hi Jo, If you are looking at the picture it is misleading. I have omitted the pasta from the final recipe for ease. The tags and recipe have been updated, please ignore the picture of the back label.
Are you considering the rice as the pasta? I have never considered
rice to be a pasta before. If so, your recipe makes some sense. If not
I am a bit confused. Please set me straight.
