  1. When I was young, my mom made me sew – I hated it. Then years later, I walked into a quilt shop and fell head over heels in love with all things Amy Butler and Heather Bailey!!! Thanks mom for teaching me how to sew! It is so much more fun when you have YUMMY fabric like these to work with – and books with awesome projects and inspiration! My fingers are crossed!!!!!

  2. OooOo Perhaps if I had a colourful name tag on my suitcase it wouldn’t have gotten lost on the trip from Europe to Australia.

If it’s one thing I learnt that day, have a stand out suitcase, people! Tags, labels, stickers, pom poms, the whole shebang! Because when you report your lost suitcase to the lovely airport worker sitting behind a desk and they ask you “what colour is your suitcase” and you answer “Black”, it’ll save them the hassle of rolling their eyes for the 37th time that day.

Also loving those notebook covers. I think I might pay a visit to the local fabric store this weekend. <3

  3. I love how fun and sunny the fabrics are–and my mom and dad got me a sewing machine for my birthday last week. I could do fabulous things for my daughter with this!
