Here some update photos of my craft room. I will continue to post these the first of each month to see if I can stay on track. There are still some things I want to do but this room has come a long way! I could never have accomplished this without my friend!
My Fabric Nook
The Closet
Some organizing solutions I did have in place, but they were hard to see before with all of the stuff everywhere. My husband had built this cool holder for my wrapping paper.
My husband had also hung a piece of plastic gutter under the entire length of my window to hold my ribbon.
TaDa!
i pinned the photo of your workbench today and i plan to include it on my blog post tomorrow – would love it if you stopped by!
How funny, my room is similar but still looks like a disaster! I have a big peg board to hold tools & supplies, a DIY clip-it-up my husband made me out of wooden dowels & beading wire & cost about $15 to make, I used the racks made for kitchen cabinets & pantry for my paints, glues & stamps.
I bought the wire cube racks & used cable ties to make a 12×12 paper holder shelf. I have 3 of those wire racks from IKEA for more tools & junk, they are fabulous! To hold my small ribbons I got a round chipboard for the base & glued a pencil to it.
Love the gutter idea for ribbons! I wish I had a little nook for my fabric, they are overflowing on a rubbermaid rack right now!
The ribbon gutter is sheer genius!
The blue containers are the plain wooden organizers you can find at IKEA that I I painted. Good Luck!
I love the blue organizers. Did you paint them, or buy them that color? and where? I am currently trying to get organized in my sewing / craft room. I have gone with a creamy white/ light blue & brown color scheme. It’s coming along but still have a ways to go. Wish me luck as I do you.
i f-ing love it!! i’m so jealous…gotta get my craft room in order!
Holy Cow that room looks awesome!
Love your ribbon gutter!
Yes, we used every bit (sides and all) of the plastic for making shrinky dinks! We have started collecting it again—-but I have a place in the closet for it!
Lookin’ good! But where is all the #6 plastic?? Did you use it up taking photos for the recent tutorial?? :^)
I am so jealous! I love it. What an indulgence to have a craft corner/room – it’s an unrealized dream of mine. Yours looks so organized.
It looks amazing! I’m sure it’s really freeing to have things in their place.
i love it…love it love it love it. i talked about it on my blog–edgeonlife.blogspot.com
I want a fabric nook!! Good girl, keeping it organized and clean!
