We are watching The Secret Life of Pets, which is now available on DVD & Blu-ray and has become one of our favorite family movies. Ever wonder what your pets do when you’re not home? Well now we know! From the humans behind Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets is a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. The new release comes with nearly an hour of bonus content, including three hilarious mini-movies: the all-new Norman Television and Weenie PLUS Mower Minions.

How to make Chloe cat cupcakes from The Secret Life of Pets
We thought you might want to have the cutest Chloe cupcakes for your movie night! They go together quickly and will be a hit!
Cat Cupcake Supplies
- cupcakes
- white frosting
- white royal icing
- purple sanding sugar
- pastry bags
- pastry tip #3
- candy eyes
- pink jelly beans
- pink fondant
Give the cupcake a layer of white buttercream frosting. Smooth as much as possible. Place frosting in a pastry bag and cut off the tip. Pipe two blobs of frosting where cat ears should be.
Dip frosted cupcake into purple sanding sugar.
With your fingers gently mold the blobs of frosting into year shapes. The sanding sugar keeps it from being sticky. Roll fondant out about 1/8″ – 1/4″ thick. Cut small triangles. A pizza cutter makes easy work of this. Place triangles on the ears and gently mold the frosting around the fondant.
Add a jelly bean nose. With the buttercream filled pastry bag pipe two more blobs of frosting around the pink jelly bean. A finger dipped in water will smooth the blobs if you ended up with a tail on the blog. Just pat it smooth.
Place a dap on the back of candy eyes and place on the cupcake.
Place royal icing into a pastry bag fitted with a #3 tip. Pipe long strands onto wax paper. Allow to dry overnight. These will be the whiskers.
Carefully place the royal icing whiskers into the two white blobs of frosting. Don’t forget to add a tiny bit of pink fondant for a tongue. You will have the cutest Chloe cupcakes!
