These fun little Candy Cones are a great way to share your favorite holiday candies and they’re so quick and easy to sew. Make several to share with friends, school teachers, or add them to your children’s stockings! So many fun ways to give your favorite goodies!

Materials:

  • Free printable Candy Cones pattern in large or small (click here for both sizes)
  • 1/4 yard of fabric*
  • baker’s twine, ribbon, or string
  • candy
*Many different kinds of fabric would work well for this project, but for the candy cones in this tutorial I used regular quilting cotton.

Step 1: Cut 2 triangles from pattern.

Step 2: Pin and sew the triangles (right sides together) along the two long side edges. Do not sew across the top edge. Trim the sewn edges with pinking shears.

Step 3: Turn the cone right side out and press. Trim across the top edge of the cone with pinking shears.

Step 4: Fill cone with your favorite candy!

Step 5: Cut a piece of baker’s twine, ribbon, or string to about 10″-15″ long. Tie the twine around the top of the cone to keep the candy inside.
