That’s it! In about 10 minutes you can make a cute bunny puppet.

Facial features can also be sewn on. This is a great idea especially if you are practicing hand sewing or embroidery.  A few sewn-on whiskers are adorable! You’ll want to add the hand-sewn details before stitching around the bunny.

Or how about trying other colors of felt, like black, gray, brown, or tan? A whole kerfuffle of different colored bunnies would be super cute. If you experiment with this craft, I’d love to see how your bunny puppets turn out!

There are a lot of cute ways to make animal hand puppets using (or reusing) just a few supplies. Glove puppets, sock puppets, or little animal finger puppets all make for great pretend play and quality time spent with kids learning the basics of sewing.
