Teacher Appreciation Week is the first full week in May. Through all of April I am excited to share some amazing ideas from some of the most wonderful bloggers for my Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas series! It’s a great month! You will be totally prepared with ideas to thank your teachers!

Hi everyone- I’m Mique from Thirty Handmade Days and the Queen Bee Market.  I’m excited to be here today because we love teachers in our house.   They make a huge difference in my kids lives.  So when it’s time to show our appreciation, we go all out!  We’ve done all kinds of gifts in the past.  This time around I came up with something simple:

Some delicious homemade cookies plus a cute card!
Here’s what you need to make this gift happen:

  • a batch of your favorite homemade cookies
  • printable card
  • cellophane
  • cute coordinating ribbon

And it’s so simple to do:
Whip up your cookies.  Print out the card.  Wrap it up in cellophane and tie the card on with the ribbon.  You could take it one step further and attach a gift card to the teacher’s favorite place on the back of the card.

You could use also use baker’s twine to tie on the package.  I happen to know of someone who has some cute twine!

I’m sharing the cookies that I used for this idea in today’s post on 30days:

They are easy, pretty and taste great! Win, win, win!
