Materials Needed: 1. Rock 2. Small button 3. Thin craft wire 4. Scissors 5. Washi tape
STEP 1: Thread a small white button onto thin craft wire. Make a loop with the wire on the backside of the button and twist a few times. This is your first flower petal.
STEP 2: Make several more petals, first with the tail end of the wire (trim off excess tail as needed with scissors) and then any additional petals with the non-tail end of the wire until you are happy with the amount of petals. Don’t worry about making the petals all uniform in shape or size. The wonkier the better.
STEP 3: Leaving about 2 inches for the stem, wrap the wire around the rock several times, and then twist the wire close to the base of the flower’s stem. Trim the wire at a length that allows you to tuck the end through the wrapped wire at the bottom of the rock. Attach strips of washi tape onto the rock to finish.
VARIATION #1: Use black craft wire!
VARIATION #2: Instead of washi tape, glue a strip of sheet music onto the rock!
