Hi! I’m Jen from 100 Directions. I’m so excited to be back for this year’s Teacher Appreciation series on Skip to My Lou! I’m an Illustrator, Designer and owner of JGoode Designs, my Denver based art studio and I love all things creative. My favorite creative fun is doodling art on to anything I can get my hands on. I also love sharing ideas to help inspire others to find their own creativity. I hope this printable gift idea encourages you to create some super fabulous gifts for your favorite teachers!

This year for teacher appreciation week, our school went with a Super Hero theme for the entire week’s events. So, I thought I’d share with you what I created for our 5th grade teachers and add a little extra fun to it. I created a printable gift card holder for our own teachers with the idea of giving them “Super Power Enhancers” because all super heros need a little extra fuel once in a while, right? We are filling the gift card holders with gift cards to Starbucks, but you can add in any gift card for your teacher’s favorite food or treat or other “super hero fuel”. (Applebee’s cards are cute for teacher themed gifts!) This printable kit also includes 2 more printables to coordinate with the theme, a note card and a thank you card. You can mix and match components from each printable page to make your own unique Super Hero gifts to show your teacher how much you appreciate them.

Extra fun: there are three color stripes included on this printable that you can use to make colored confetti to include inside the gift card holder. Simply cut the color stripes into strips, like fringe, and then cut again to make little square confetti pieces.
