summer craft ideas

Hi guys!
I’m Sibylle and I’m thrilled to be part of the summer craft camp again, thanks so much Cindy!
If you like fresh and funky, visit my blog, Funkytime, lots of Summer DIY’s and printables are waiting for you! And if you want more…. then read my online magazine with even more projects to tackle;-)

In today’s world, where the daily post tends to only bring bills and advertising, and the nicest pictures, messages and news only come by email, I have taken it upon myself to reignite the joy of a letter, and decided to make these envelope liners, to then send our summer vacation photos to my family in Europe.

This also works well for beach themed party invites!

You will need:

Scissors, colorful envelopes, printer

How to:

1. Print out your picture on a letter sized paper.

2. Unfold your envelope and trace around it with a penci, cut about 1cm apart from the pencil line.

OR: Download the template for a 5×7 envelope here

3. Slide the liner into the envelope and glue with paper glue.

Enjoy your summer!

XOXO, Sibylle

  1. What a great idea. I could imagine this being used during the holidays too, when mailing Christmas cards.
