Take a mini sandwich cookie and a regular sized sandwich cookie apart. Press a skewer into the sandwich cookie. Place the mini cookie at the top of the skewer. Place regular cookie about two inches down from the mini cookie. Put a dollop of the candy coating on top of the skewer.

Place the tops back on the cookies.  Allow candy coating to harden completely.

Melt candy coating on low in the microwave.  Stir after every 15 seconds. Be sure to not get candy coating too hot or melt too quickly or it will thicken. Coating must not be too thick.  Place white candy coating in a tall container. Dip the cookies into white candy coating.  If dipping is difficult, a teaspoon of crisco may be added to the candy coating to thin. It might be easier to spoon candy coating onto the cookies. Let excess coating drip off the cookie. Take a skewer and go along the edge of the cookies.

Before coating dries stick in the beak and add a candy eye. Take chocolate sandwich cookies apart and cut one side in half to make wings. Attach wing to stork with a dab of candy coating.
