Using a 2 inch scallop circle punch (my very favorite punch), cut out the circles.

Tape the circles to fun striped straws with transparent tape.

Just a few simple steps and a couple of minutes and you have added something really cute to your party!

We will be using the festive drinking straws this Halloween before we go trick or treating.  We have invited some families over to have dinner before they head out for candy.  This is a great way to fill their stomachs with something good before all that bad!

Now I’m curious to know, what are your favorite Halloween party tips, tricks, and memories?

  1. When my twins were in the 5th grade (many years ago!), we let them have a Halloween party. We decorated our front porch with a witch’s cauldron filled with water and floated some dry ice in it for an eerie fog effect. We put a blacklight bulb in and had ghosts flying around – everyone loved the effect. Inside, we had ghosts, bats and black cat cut-outs hanging everywhere and also fake spiderwebs. Everyone got to decorate their own small pumpkins to take home and we had Halloween-themed food. These cute cut-outs and juice box covers would have been perfect! Now that my daughter has a ‘trick or treater’ of her own, I’m sharing this site with her!

  2. Hi,
Thanks for including what size punch to use when making your party circles. Alot of other sites never mention what size punches to use. It really helps alot to know ALL the details when doing a project.

    Thanks for the cute idea!
