These Scarecrow cookies are what I took for my daughter’s bake sale. Someone had made some similar ones at my son’s bake sale.  I am thinking the original idea came from Family Fun Magazine.  I made sugar cookies on long sticks so I could stick them into a small hay bale I found at Hobby Lobby.

I thought it was a fun way to display the cookies so they could be sold individually.

Here is the sugar cookie recipe I used.

  5. Those cookies are so cute! I am going to make myself a mental not (actually, I better make myself a REAL note) to use them as a Christmas project for the kids. With a few alterations, they could be great snowmen. Thanks, as always, for the great ideas.
