Hello there, this is Lia from liagriffith.com. I am happy to be here on Skip to My Lou, to share a very fun project you and your kids can make for a memorable teacher’s appreciation gift. One of my favorite things to make is paper flowers. I use all kinds of different papers for different blooms and the easiest is paper from cupcake liners. I made these flowers with red polka dot liners for the blooms and green polka dot liners for the leaves that I found at my local craft store. The stems of this adorable little flower are made from pencils covered with pretty green washi tape. How perfect is that! You can follow the tutorial at the end of this post that gives you step-by-step instructions on making this little gift. If you like the chalkboard style gift tags I used in these photos, they are available on my blog.
