We all have our own stories about our moms. I was lucky enough to be adopted into a wonderful family and have an awesome mom!
My mom from the start always made me feel that I had been chosen and was special. I am so thankful for her and her ability to make me feel totally a part and not different in any way. I truly feel that one of the biggest blessings in my life is that somewhere along the way my family forgot I was adopted. Thanks to her loving and open heart I always felt secure.

What a great story, thank you for sharing. I used to live 3000 miles away from my mom, now it’s about 30 miles away-takes 45 minutes, wish she were closer but I’m just glad it’s not 3000 miles anymore!

I live about 1 mile from my mom. And I am satisfied with that. Having lived 700(plus) miles from her….that was very hard. So, I was thrilled when we were able to move back to our hometown and then we got lucky to purchase our first home-just 1 mile from her!
You are so blessed to live right next door to your mom! I am so jealous!! I live less than 1 mile from my mom, but it’s not close enough! We’ve been praying for God to work out the details for us to live next door to each other, but it just hasn’t happened yet. My mom and I are best friends and are extremely close. It sounds like you have a fabulous mom, too. We are very blessed.
