Welcome to the Bake Craft Sew Along!

Hello! I’m Andrea from TheTrainToCrazy.com and GoToSew.com! I love using fabric for all types of decor, both simple and intricate. As we come into holiday season I’ve been thinking about table settings. Name place holders are a great way to make your family or guests feel special. This quick project will take you 10 minutes start to finish and make any holiday table more fun. If you can sew a straight line you can do this!

Easy Name Place Holders Supplies:

  • Phoomph (a fun product from Coats & Clark)
  • Paper with names hand written or printed
  • Fabric scraps

Easy Name Place Holders - quick tutorial by thetraintocrazy.comCut your paper any size you want. I made mine about 3/4″ x 1.5″. Using a long stitch, sew the paper onto your fabric. It’s easier to do this project if you don’t cut the fabric first.

Next, you’ll sandwich the phoomph between the fabric layers.
