Chocolate candy coating

wax paper

balloons (water balloon size)

scissors

pastry bag

How to make chocolate bowls

Melt candy coating in a bowl.  Melt the candy coating very slowly in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds. Candy coating only needs to be warm. Blow up the balloon to the size of a small grapefruit.

Lay out a piece of wax paper and place a circle of chocolate. This will serve as the base of your bowl.

Dip the balloon in the chocolate.

Rock the balloon back and forth.

This creates a scalloped edge.

Set balloon on the circle of chocolate. Allow chocolate to completely harden.

Fill a pastry bag with melted chocolate. Snip off the end of the bag and pipe a decoration for the center of the bowl.
