  1. At our preschool a few years ago the kids made these and then put them into paper bag “cocoons” and rolled them up. A couple of days later at the open house for families, the kids opened their cocoons and the caterpillars had turned into butterflies – the teacher had clipped in painted coffee filters that the kids had made several days before (not knowing what they would be used for!) It was so cute to see them open the cocoons…

  8. Looking for ideas as to what to do with the clips. Laundry… snack bags… attach magnet and put on fridge… those all work but none really appeal to me all that much and I’m looking for more ideas because these are way too cute to deny my daughter… : )

  9. I remember these from my childhood – they are so cute! I’m currently making my youngest son a Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt wallhanging. These would be cute in his room too!
