Welome Michelle from A Little Tipsy! You have to check out her darling blog full of kid inspired fun!

Hello Skip to My Lou readers! I’m Michelle from A Little Tipsy. I am excited to share a fun idea for the kiddos. I have two little boys of my own and we love to craft together and make one of a kind things to wear. For a taste of what we do, see some of our favorite kids activities, Disney themed shirts, and Batman Birthday Party.

Today we’re sharing a quick and easy activity with things you may already have at the house. We learned this clever idea during a recent trip to the Thanksgiving Point Children’s Garden and thought it would be perfect to share. We’ll be making buzzing bee balloons. Buzzing? Yes! You’ll see.

All you need is a hex nut, a yellow balloon and a sharpie to create this cute little guy!

Place the hex nut inside the balloon,  blow it up and tie it off. Don’t blow it up too big or it will pop easily. Use the sharpie to draw a face, wings and stripes.

Now how to make it buzz…we’ll let my little guy show you how easy it is. Just spin the hex nut inside the balloon.

Even my two year old can make it buzz on his own. They had tons of fun buzzing and flying them around the yard!
