Hi there, Skip to My Lou readers! I’m Jill and I blog over at Create.Craft.Love! I’m so excited to be here with you today! I know that keeping the kiddos occupied during the summer can be exhausting. I have a 4 year old who never stops! We came up with these fun Bubble Wand Flowers the other day and they have been a huge hit! They are made from foam pool noodles!
These Bubble Wand Flowers are super easy to make! Here’s what you need:
- Foam pool noodles (you can cut your own or use the pre-cut ones from the craft store like I did)
- Paper straws
- Ribbon
- Bubbles
Simply, take the foam piece and straw. Gently push the straw through the foam. I just applied pressure with the straw and twisted back and forth until it broke through the foam.
Add a little ribbon to give it some flair!
These are so easy to make! I whipped up these three in less than 5 minutes!
The straws may get a little soggy, but they can easily be swapped out for fresh ones!
They really work too! We had a blast experimenting!

A huge thanks to Cindy and all of you fabulous readers for letting me stop by today! I would love if you popped over to my corner of blogland! You can follow along with me on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter or Instagram!
What a cute idea!
On a side note, I’ve seen “dessert sticks” at several places. They look just like the paper straws, but are made of a harder plastic material. They’d be worth looking into if you have bubble-obsessed children like I do. They’re slightly more expensive than paper straws, but still right around $2.
