Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays! All the red and pink puffy hearts everywhere….what’s not to love? I have fun creating little treats and showing the people I care about just how much they mean to me. Today I’m sharing an idea for the boys in your life.

Airplane Valentines Topper

I’m Mique from Thirty Handmade Days (@30daysblog) and owner of the Queen Bee Market. I’m thrilled to be here at Skip to My Lou. I know there’s lots of ideas for girls floating around there but boys can sometimes be hard to create for. They don’t like hearts and pink… at least my boys don’t. So I came up with this easy bag topper after seeing a set of erasers at Target’s dollar spot. They’re so simple to make but won’t be the same as everyone in your kids classes- win/win!

Boy erasers for Valentines day

Here’s what I used for my project:

  • Shaped erasers
  • Cellophane bags
  • Stapler
  • white cardstock or Avery postcards (I use them for everything!)
  • airplane printable

Print out the airplane Valentines, have your kids sign the “to” and “from.” Fold the printable in half. Fill the cellophane bag with the erasers (or anything airplane/helicopter related). Slide the tag over the top of the bag and staple. And enjoy!
