Hi friends! My name is Brittany and I blog over at bebe a la mode designs.  I love to make quick, easy and tasty creations in the kitchen and since my hubby and 3 crazy kids like to eat, it works out pretty well. I’m super excited to be blogging here today and I have a cool and yummy treat to share with you!

These Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles are perfect for your 4th of July BBQ and the best part…they only require 4 ingredients, are quick to throw together and easy for kids to help with.

This is a small batch recipe, but can easily be doubled or tripled. Let’s start with the red (strawberry) layer. Add 1 cup of hulled, quartered strawberries to a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Add 1 Tablespoon of sugar and blend until pureed. Pour into small bowl and set aside.

For the blue (blueberry) layer, add 1 cup of blueberries to the same food processor (you don’t even need to wash it out) 😉 and 1 Tablespoon of sugar. Blend until pureed.

For the white (yogurt) layer, in a small bowl mix 1/2 cup of plain Greek Yogurt (I use non-fat) with 1 Tablespoon of sugar. Stir well.

Now it’s time for the assembly.

Using a 3 ounce popsicle mold (I used these with wooden popsicle sticks), layer the strawberry puree, yogurt and blueberry puree in equal amounts. Insert popsicle sticks and place in freezer for a minimum of 3 hours. Make 4 popsicles.
